NEW WORK / NEW YORK
Ashley Frost’s return exhibition of ‘New Work/New York’, plein air landscape studies around the East end of Long Island, culminates this week. Living at his sister’s home in Sagaponack, Frost has been sharing a studio space with local artist Nathan Joseph. He will present this body of work in the Parasol Projects Pop-Up Gallery Rivington, New York from 15 -21 November 2016 Frost’s plein air painting captures time and place through the shared vision of light. Arriving at dusk or dawn, Frost paints small compositional studies, capturing the sublime transition of light and soft movement. |
